I got this dog ramp because my dog is a big guy and he still thinks he’s a puppy. He loves being on the couch with us, but jumping up and down was starting to worry me, especially as he’s getting older. I wasn’t sure if he would actually use a pet ramp, but he figured this one out pretty quickly. The ramp is wide enough that he doesn’t feel like he’s walking on a narrow board, and the non-slip surface gives him more confidence going up and down. The whole thing feels really sturdy. The wood frame feels solid, and it stays in place on our hardwood floors. I also like that the hinge is covered instead of exposed, so I don’t have to worry about anything sticking out near his paws.
Another thing I didn’t expect to like is how nice it looks in the house. A lot of pet products feel like they don’t belong with your furniture, but this one actually blends in next to our couch. Seeing him use it comfortably every day has honestly made me happy. I should have bought one sooner.

I have never seen anything like this before…it’s great and multifunctional! My dog uses the dog steps to get up to the couch. But when not in use, I can use it as a footrest! It’s amazing. The steps are non slippery and good for my elderly dog to get access to the couch. It’s a faux leather so it’s easy to clean from dog hair. I was a little worried my dogs nails would scratch it but it’s perfect and she loves being able to get on the couch.
This pet ramp doubles as an attractive ottoman, and is pretty sturdy. It looks great next to my leather sofa. I got this for an aging dog that likes to get on the sofa and cuddle with the family, and works very well for that.
The ramp surface is textured to prevent slipping. One thing I would note is that a couple of the staples holding the textured carpet on the ramp are visible, and not quite poking out.
With the ramp folded, the ottoman is strong and steady. The legs don't wobble at all, and I stood on top of it. I weigh 200 pounds and I was confident that it would hold me safely. The ramp is super easy to use, as it easily unfolds to provide a surface with nice traction. However, when it's unfolded to the ramp, it is clear that it was only meant for smaller animals. It's definitely not capable of holding me or even large children on the ramp surface.
Overall, if it's used the way it was intended, then this is a good value for people who have animals around 25 pounds or less. Anything more than that and I wouldn't recommend it.

Space Saving Design. I have two indoor Maltese fur babies and we are always trying to balance keeping them comfortable while not cluttering up our living room. We had been using a cloth covered foam ramp which worked fine but it was huge and took up much more space when not in use. This foldable dog steps/ramp from Ziluce Store is a much better design. It is easy to use and arrives almost completely together. I just needed to screw on the legs and apply the scratch free pads. It even comes with extra pads if you need to replace one later. My husband did notice a couple of the inside hinge screws were not completely tightened but was able to fix that quickly without any problems. Really nice. Wish it had a washable cover. I like this a bit more than I thought I would. I got it for my platform bed, cause it has one of those like ledges. It’s like smooth for my mattress that sits on a flat smooth surface. So my large dog often slides around when trying to jump into my bed. I plan to use it without its legs- and have the height and surface of my platform bed act as the legs. So that when it’s unfolded there are stairs filing the right angles of the floor meeting the bed and the bed surface meeting the mattress! It’s also great that I can fold it easily whenever I want to. That way it can also act sorta like a night stand or extra surface for me. My one note is that I do wish there was a removable cover or something I can take off a wash when I need to- especially the part with the stairs. But it’s possible I just didn’t see it? (Pretty sure there isn’t tho). The wood for the legs of the chair are also really nice. Overall it’s built well and doesn’t feel cheap or anything, and it looks nice I like the simple colors and the fact that the stairs are darker especially since they can’t be removed to wash.
Nice foldable stairs for small dogs. I do like this. It is very heavy and solid. It is easy to put together when you get it. You only have to screw the legs into the bottom. I love the function of this that I can fold it up for an ottoman or small table when I don't need it and can pull it out when my grand dogs come over. It is much easier than always having bulky stairs around. I would say that this is for very small and light weight dogs. While the outside is super solid, the stairs themselves have a little bit of give to them. I don't think it would matter at all for a small dog, but if you are getting these stairs for a larger older dog that needs help, they may be too heavy for the stairs. The listing says small dogs, and so I would stick to this working best for small dogs. The stairs are nicely carpeted so there is no slipping on the stairs. The carpet isn't super soft, but more industrial so that it will hold up. This is a great idea. I was so excited to order this because I hadn't seen steps that fold up like this before. They work perfectly and I am really pleased with the dog stairs. This is a great solution, especially if you have a smaller space.

Great investment. Not the comfiest use for a human but it does serve as a bonus chair or footstool when folded up. The product says it handles up to 250lbs, and I climbed up it to show my pups how to use it and this ramp didnt even flex, so it’s pretty durable and sturdy. It was really easy to assemble, the legs simply twisted into place. I like the aesthetic of the spread legs and the brackets used make this item seem very safe. It also came with rubber feet to prevent sliding on hardfloors, I didn’t use them for my carpet and this ramp has stayed exactly where I put it. For how well its built, its surprisingly not heavy and can be moved around easily. The steps on this ramp do exist but they are very tiny and carpeted so it makes using it safe. I got this to protect my mastiff puppies hips, and at 90lbs and 8mo old they use it every day instead of jumping onto the couch. This is much safer than the pillow version I got, that started wobbling under their feet at 60lbs. I would say this is worth the investment and is useful for when your dogs may outgrow it. The only thing I would change is the little fabric tab is very enticing for my dogs to play with, so I may need to cut that off!

Love These Doggy Stairs! I am very excited about these dog stairs. They are sturdy for our dogs and feel and look nice. I love having the flexibility of using them as stairs or as a stool for the dogs to lay on if I’m working in my office. It was easy to train the dogs to use them. All it took was a few minutes and a handful of miniature marshmallows to get them climbing. I was a little worried about the exposed hinges in the stairs, but they haven’t been an issue at all. The material on the stairs allows the dogs to go up and down safely without sliding. Although dog hair shows when the stool is closed (as it does on so many things in our house), I really like the color and it matches the rest of our furniture nicely, so I would choose that color again if we got another set of these stairs, which we are considering for our bedroom. With two senior dogs, having a way for them to get up and down without stressing their joints is important to us. Another benefit to these is that when we have company, it takes two seconds to fold the top over and move them out of the way-and they look like a nice stool and not an eye sore. The stairs took less than three minutes to get out of the box and set up. Everything was assembled except the legs which simply had to be screwed on. We are happy customers.

Fantastic and USEFUL dog ramp! This is a fantastic dog ramp / ottoman. As a dog ramp, it’s very sturdy. Both of my dogs used it right away, even my scaredy cat dog that usually takes a few days to use a new ramp. It’s wide and the grip is soft but not slippery. Because of that is does collect some dog hair (you can see in my pic) but that’s not really a problem…if you have dogs, everything is collecting dog hair. It does sit a few in he’s below couch level. For most dogs that shouldn’t be a problem. If you have a very dainty 3-5 lb dog or dog with super short legs, you might want to be aware. You can see the difference in my picture. I love the fact that if you need to quickly turn your living room into something other than a dog room, you can just flip it and it looks like a very nice ottoman. It’s the perfect size to put your feet on. I have about 7 dog ramps. This one is absolutely my favorite and I’m going to buy another to match the other couch. It’s so easy to move but doesn’t move when they are running up it.

These are great, had to get a second one. Tldr: I recommend in the sense I would buy this again, actually it’s my second ramp/stool like this from Ziluce so yea. No factory smells, easy to assemble, gentle slope for my cats, firm cushion as a seat for me. The upholstery is pretty resilient too, I let the cats know it’s okay to scratch these since it’s “their furniture” and they haven’t shredded it or fuzzed it all up which is great. I have two senior cats that are very active but getting older nonetheless so I want to make things easier for them where I can, like getting up and down beds and couches so they can save their jump impacts for playing. Easy to assemble, you don’t need tools. You just hand-tighten the legs. When it’s folded up in footstool mode the foam on top is pretty dense and really firm. I like that but if you prefer something softer that might be something to think about. It’s not very heavy, I don’t have trouble picking it up and moving it although I’m an able bodied person. Maybe the only kind of tricky thing is because of how boxy it is, I’m short so my arms are kind of bent awkwardly when I’m carrying it from under the seat. The cats like to run up and down it, and one of my cats like to sleep on ramps, and he told me that this is a good napping ramp lol. The ramp covering is like office carpet type pile and they all have good traction. I’m very happy with this stool and I like the charcoal grey color too, makes it even more camouflaged as “normal furniture.”
Very Nice Luxury Ramp/Doesn’t Reach Everything Though. This dog stairs/ramp from Ziluce is such an intuitive and stylish piece of pet furniture! I love that it can be used as a ramp when needed, then folded into a stool so it’s not an eyesore nor is it taking up unnecessary space when not in use. It can even double as a side table. Having something that’s not only functional but also upscale and modern is a huge plus. It blends right into my home’s decor without looking out of place. The faux leather/suede-like exterior is easy to wipe clean, and the carpeted ramp inside can be quickly vacuumed, which makes maintenance simple. The design is also beautiful! The multi-brown tones have a slight marbled effect, then paired with beige wooden legs, that ties in seamlessly with a wide variety of decor styles and colors. There are a couple of things to note. First, the height is a bit limited. It works wonderfully with most living room furniture like couches and chairs. However, it’s a tad too short for standard beds and doesn’t even come close to being usable with pillow-top beds. I wish it had longer legs or perhaps interchangeable leg options to accommodate different heights and different types of furniture. Secondly, one of the legs on mine didn’t want to tighten completely. I tried it in all four slots and it never screwed in firmly, but to its credit the ramp was still level, sturdy, and supportive. Overall, this is a great ramp for living room or covered patio areas - it’s functional, stylish, and easy to keep clean. I definitely recommend it if you’re looking for something that makes reaching higher spaces easier for your pets while keeping your home looking modern and put-together!
Great build quality and easy transitioning steps for small pups. I am really liking these pet steps with the option of converting to an ottoman. The only assembly needed is putting on the wooden legs along with the round stick on floor protectors. I have been using this for my medium sized dog who doesn’t like jumping onto the bed, she whines and whines when when a cat is on her steps and she can jump onto the bed but won’t. I’m okay with that and prefer her to use the steps for her own joint health and these steps have very small transitions instead of the typical large narrow steps. My bed is fairly high, and the top of the steps align with the bottom of my mattress which is 14”. My pup easily goes up the rest of the way and is definitely supported by these steps. This is a high quality piece of furniture and looks good with a range of home decor. The fabric is soft in ottoman form and the cats love it. Unfold and the steps are soft but textured for helping to prevent slips. I wanted to see how it would hold up and in a month it still looks new. Very impressed with build quality and design. Beautiful blue fabric with the wood legs looks fancy.
Stylish and easy to put together. This appears to be well-made. I'm still trying to coax my cat into using it. The reason I knocked it down a star is because it came with an incredible odor, almost like a mold smell. One of the legs had some white spots on it and the instructions were damp. I went ahead and wiped off the leg with a Clorox wipe and that seemed to somewhat do the trick. The stairs themselves have a heavy chemical smell. I put some dryer sheets in the stairs and closed it back up into the ottoman shape and let that sit for a few days. That seems to have helped the overwhelming chemical smell. Otherwise, it is super easy to put together. You just screw in the legs and it's ready to go. It also comes with sticky pads for the bottom of the legs (a total of 8, so you have 4 extra), but to be honest, they don't stick very well and kept falling off. I'm sure using a hot glue gun will do the trick. Overall, I would say this is worth the purchase to keep a stylish home yet still have stairs for your dog or cat!
Aesthetic and sturdy, but the final say goes to pets. I wanted some pet steps that would look good in my house to let my senior small dogs up onto the furniture. Assembly was a breeze, you just twist the legs on and stick pads on them. With the stairs folded up, it looks like a nice, if a little firm, midcentury modern ottoman. The quality of the outer fabric is good, and the piece seems sturdy. I wish it was just a few inches taller. It is shorter heightwise and longer than the plastic stairs my dogs are used to (see photo for comparison), so it's not as steep of an incline. However, it's kind of an awkard mix between ramp and stairs that my little dogs don't much care for, and weirdly enough I had trouble getting them to use the stairs, especially going down. They have a little trouble not sliding down as the fabric is only a little less grippy than what they're used to. Use positive reinforcement and treats to encourage your pet to use the steps and be patient. Some animals might not like them.

The steps are shallow so traction for your fur baby won't be an issue. Suitable for any age poochie. When folded, the top is fairly soft for resting your feet. Due to it's small size and light weight, it's quite easy to move.

Sturdy, 2 in 1 format. I have two smaller dogs that love to look out windows, climb up on "their" bench, and while one is athletic and jumps, the other isn't quite so good at it. I ordered this ottoman / dog ramp for him. First, there is some assembly required, but it is really easy - attach the solid wood legs into the metal mounts, then attach the non-slip rubber pads to the bottom of the legs. It folds open with a tab, making a shallow ramp with micro-steps, so no big steps for smaller or arthritic dogs to deal with, but still have a bit of something to hold onto going up or down. The color is perfect for my home (dark blue outside, blue/gray inside). It shows the load capacity is 50#, but it seems to hold more than that (my 2 dogs together are more than 50#), but I didn't test it. It remained stable and easily used for my dogs. I like it can be folded closed if you need space, or a foot rest, or simply a bench for a dog to climb on. The price did seem a little high to me until I had it put together and realized it was nice, solid construction. One note - make sure you check dimensions, not only of planned height - It doesn't reach the height of my bed, but it reaches the height of the average sofa - but also how much floor space it takes up when open, as it does take a bit of space.
